Striving for the highest standards in all we do
Acting with honesty and strong moral principles
Building strong relationships and collaboration
Embracing new ideas and creative solutions
O Alma mater fair and dear
Thy sons and daughters far and near
With hope so found of memories
We sing our song of love and praise
So unto the march
Because we love you so much
Chorus:
Abra high school beloved
Thy faithful children here we are
We'll forever remain loyal and sincere
For you are pride
Abra's fair at of that love last
So, unto the march
Because we love you so much
Onward.
Abra high school beloved
Thy faithful children here we are
We'll forever remain loyal and sincere
For you are pride
Abra's fair at of that love last
So, unto the march
Because we love you so much
So, unto the march
Because we love you so much.
Abra High School (AHS) stands as the leading public secondary institution in the Province of Abra, under the Department of Education – Cordillera Administrative Region. Known as the “Home of the Champions,” AHS continues to uphold excellence in academics, leadership, and community service.
From its humble beginnings in the early 1900s to its modern status today, AHS has grown through the dedication of its educators, leaders, students, and stakeholders. The school remains committed to nurturing Abrenian youth into competent and values-driven individuals.
The roots of Abra High School began with the arrival of the Thomasites in 1901, promoting inclusive education and leading to the official inauguration of AHS in 1923.
Through Batas Pambansa Blg. 302, Abra High School was re-established and reopened to students in School Year 1984–1985.
Enrollment surged following Free Secondary Education, and AHS became one of the first schools nationwide to offer the Special Science Curriculum.
Major buildings were constructed, including the JICA Building and gymnasium, alongside the establishment of school annexes.
AHS earned numerous regional and national recognitions and established the Calot Extension to expand access to education.
Under the leadership of Dr. Jasmine P. Bringas, AHS continues to set standards of excellence in academics and leadership.
